Manoomin Learning is insipid, informed, and influenced by teachings of the Anishinaabe. In Anishinabek governance systems, it was not a hierarchy with one person at the top making all the decisions, it was a community, it was a circle, where every member of the community was an integral member each with their role, responsibility, and gift to share.
Just like the Anishinabek governance system, the corporate structure of Manoomin Learning is Modelled off a circle. Here we don’t have a corporate hierarchy. We have a Community of Collaboration

Nimkii Brad Howie
Chief Education Manager Owner and Operator of Manoomin Learning
Nimkii Brad Howie is a proud member of Nipissing First Nation. As a licensed chemist in Canada, and a trained environmental scientist his true passions lie within teaching. My greatest gift is being able to teach about Indigenous people and science in a fun, engaging, and informative way. At Manoomin Learning Nimkii oversee's all the educational services offered. He is also the owner and operator of Manoomin Learning and facilitates all the background items needed to run a successful business.

Teagen Hetherington is proud Indigenous woman who loves spreading fun facts and positivity. Teagen is currently working towards a Concurrent Education degree at Brock University in the Junior/Intermediate stream, with her teachable being Science and History. With her experience in outdoor education and a constant desire to be outside, Teagen brings a unique perspective to education and is committed to creating engaging, hands-on experiences that connect students to the natural world.
